I have received responses from several cyclists who have ventured on the road using Bicycling Guide to Route 66. The route seems to be a great success. Europeans especially seem to be interested in the Mother Road because of all the history associated with it. There have been a lot of songs, movies, and television programs about the Great Highway. Grab a copy of the guidebook and pick out a section or two for your next bike tour and let me know how it went.

GREAT NEWS! There is now a new crossing over the Mississippi River from Memphis, TN to West Memphis, AR. The new Big River Crossing Bridge is the longest bicycle/ped bridge across the MR. Check out the details under Guidebook Updates tab. I was there at the Grand Opening of the bridge and it is GREAT!

Reminder: To anyone who has cycled the entire Route 66, MRT or LMT, email your address, dates of your Adventure, and a photo with you holding the appropriate guidebook to orders@spiritscreek.com for your official Certificate of Completion. Note, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has signed the LMT Certificate. For an example of the certificates go to www.facebook.com/Spiritscreek-Publishing-1560847624137132/?fref=ts

Exciting news, in order for cyclists to more easily access information related to the Route 66, MRT or LMT routes, I have created a Facebook page, Spiritscreek Publishing, where I will post information related to the routes and guidebooks. Give a look, and a Like.
